Breaking news: Tottenham now set to make bid to sign £80,000-a-week Nottingham Forest player

Nottingham Forest is preparing to receive a bid from Tottenham Hotspur for one of their top players.

Nottingham Forest’s strong finish to the 2023/24 season under manager Nuno Espirito Santo saw several players rise to the occasion and help the team avoid relegation from the Premier League.

Key contributors included Murillo, Morgan Gibbs-White, and Callum Hudson-Odoi, who all played crucial roles in the team’s survival.

Nottingham Forest’s impressive finish to the 2023/24 season, led by players like Murillo, Morgan Gibbs-White, and Callum Hudson-Odoi, came at a precarious time. The team now faces the risk of being targeted by clubs looking to capitalize on the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability rules (PSR), which require clubs to balance their books by June 30th.

With this knowledge in mind, Tottenham Hotspur is poised to make a significant offer, described as “huge,” to acquire one of Nottingham Forest’s star players.

Tottenham is poised to submit an offer for Nottingham Forest forward Callum Hudson-Odoi, with reports indicating their interest in acquiring the player before June 30th. The potential bid signifies Tottenham’s intention to secure Hudson-Odoi’s services, setting the stage for a potential transfer deal between the two clubs.

According to a report from Football Insider, Tottenham is prepared to make a substantial bid to secure the signing of Callum Hudson-Odoi. The English international had a standout finish to the previous season, scoring three goals in three Premier League matches, notably netting a crucial brace in the 3-1 victory against Sheffield United that helped secure Nottingham Forest’s top-flight status.

Hudson-Odoi’s impressive performances have now caught the eye of Tottenham, who, as reported by the Guardian, had reportedly turned down the winger in 2023 before he joined Nottingham Forest.
