Yousefi expresses apprehension regarding Tagovailoa’s well-being and emphasizes the necessity for the Dolphins to address this concern.

“Given this information, it would be negligent on the part of the Dolphins to maintain a current backup quarterback roster comprising Mike White and Skylar Thompson, who collectively have a total of ten career touchdowns. Tannehill could potentially offer a superior option compared to both players combined.

He is familiar with the city, the NFL, and adept at deciphering defensive strategies. Furthermore, at this stage of his career, he understands his role within a team. If required, he would contribute positively rather than hinder. His experiences have equipped him for various scenarios.”

While the question of whether Tannehill would be open to serving as a backup to Tagovailoa arises, it is not an unfavorable suggestion. The prospect of securing a starting position could appeal to him, and the Las Vegas Raiders could potentially offer him that chance, particularly with a subpar quarterback lineup.
