Breaking news: ETSU Buccaneers Secures a Major MVP Soccer Star Contract As Well As Continuation Of Academics

University School is proud to congratulate Sam McGee on his decision to continue his academic and athletic pursuits at East Tennessee State University (ETSU) as a member of the Bucs’ men’s soccer team.

Throughout his high school career at University High School (UH), Sam has consistently demonstrated exceptional skills on the soccer pitch, earning him a reputation as a standout player.

As a four-year varsity starter, Sam played a crucial role in UH’s success, including their 2021 district championship season, where he served as the starting goalkeeper. His impressive performances have also garnered numerous individual accolades, including being named conference defender of the year in his first season, and later earning all-conference first-team honors and conference player of the year and UH MVP awards.

University School wishes Sam all the best as he embarks on this new chapter in his academic and athletic journey at ETSU.
