BREAKING NEWS: BARNLEY HEAD COACH BANEILL COLLINS DEPARTS OAKWELL

Barnsley Football Club has officially announced the departure of Head Coach Neill Collins.

Collins, who was appointed last summer, has seen several positive periods throughout the season. However, recent results have led the board of directors to believe that a change is necessary.

Director of Football Mladen Sormaz commented, “Neill has shown utmost professionalism during my time working with him. He has made every effort to steer the team in the desired direction for Barnsley. Throughout our collaboration, he has displayed professionalism and dedication. Nonetheless, with a crucial phase of the season ahead, we believe it’s the right moment for a change. We appreciate the ongoing support from our fans and encourage everyone to get behind the team in Saturday’s match against Northampton. Further updates will be provided to supporters in the coming days.”

We extend our gratitude to Neill for his contributions during his tenure at the Club.

Martin Devaney will assume interim responsibilities during this period.
