BREAKING NEWS: Talented top-tier star sells former Montreal home for $1.52 million

Canadiens goalie Carey Price has recently offloaded his South Shore residence for a reduced price, around a year after listing it for sale.

On Thursday, Price’s home in Candiac was purchased for 1.521.698 million, as reported by data from the Centris broker database. The initial listing price was $1.8 million on May 2.

Constructed in 2008, the property was appraised at $1.046 million last year. It boasts 12 rooms, including three bedrooms, a covered terrace, a heated in-ground saltwater pool, and a finished basement. Situated in a cul-de-sac, the house offers a cozy setting.

Angela, Price’s wife, shared a picture on her Instagram last year, showing the family in front of the house before their relocation to Kelowna, British Columbia.

Fleurette Lefebvre, the real estate agent handling the transaction, did not respond to a voicemail left by a Gazette reporter on Friday.

With a total of 361 career victories, Price holds the record for most wins in Canadiens history.

Following his leadership of the Habs to the Stanley Cup final in 2021, where they were defeated by the Tampa Bay Lightning, Price underwent surgery to mend a torn meniscus in his knee. He made a brief appearance in five games towards the end of the 2021-22 season and has been inactive since then.
