After missing some practice sessions this week, the New York Giants will have both star defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence and edge rusher Brian Burns available for their matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Lawrence, who has been dealing with a hip injury for several weeks, was limited this week but will still play. He’ll go up against Steelers backup center Ryan McCollum, who is set to make his second start of the season. Burns has been managing groin and Achilles injuries and didn’t complete a full practice this week; however, he is not listed with any game designation, meaning he will be ready to challenge the Steelers on the edge.
The Giants will be without first-round pick Kayvon Thibodeaux, who is on injured reserve due to a wrist injury. In terms of other injuries, the Giants will be missing punter Jamie Gillan, cornerback Adoree’ Jackson, and linebacker Ty Summers. Starting slot cornerback Cor’dale Flott is listed as doubtful with a groin injury.
There were also concerns that starting right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor would miss the game due to a groin issue, and he did not practice on Saturday, but he has stated his intention to play and is listed as questionable.
