“I don’t want to envision a world that is playing without Ja’Marr Chase.” Joe Burrow has been dealing with a lot nowadays! After battling his wrist injury, the Cincinnati Bengals’s quarterback has been fighting for his favorite targets – Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Although he clearly stated to his team what he wanted for Chase, Burrow now sends a crystal clear message to Cincy for another star WR, Higgins.
During a recent press conference, via sports writer Patrick Carey on X, Joe Burrow is “putting pressure on the front office to retain Tee Higgins. (Higgins) is incredibly important, especially with how he operates.” So, when the reporters asked him what if the franchise could get back the WR in the team, the quarterback replied, “I’d be very disappointed….Tee is a need, yes.
Joe Burrow clearly stated that the Bengals need Tee Higgins. He further added that “It’s not even just his production, it’s his presence,” and that’s why “he’s very important.” Both Burrow and Higgins have played five seasons together. According to StatMuse, “Tee Higgins has had 261 catches for 3635 yards and has scored 24 touchdowns in 54 games with Joe Burrow in his career.”
Joe Burrow too will be fighting for Higgins. However, his battle doesn’t end here. Off-field, Burrow felt “violated” after his home was burglarized.
Joe Burrow opened up for the first time after the burglary incident!
On Monday night, when Joe Burrow and his team were playing the MNF game against the Cowboys, the QB’s Ohio home was burglarized. His rumored girlfriend, Olivia Ponton, reported the incident to the cops, and the investigation is on! However, when the media asked Burrow about the incident during a recent presser, the QB quipped, “So obviously everybody has heard what has happened. I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one, and way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share.”
In addition to that, when Joe Burrow was asked how painful it is to see his personal information being out, the quarterback said, “It’s part of it….we live a public life, and you know, one of my least favorite parts of that is the lack of privacy, and that has been difficult for me to deal with my entire career, still learning, but I understand it’s the life that we choose doesn’t make it any easier to deal with.”
Well, Joe Burrow really hopes to find answers to his every on and off-field problem by the end of this year!
