Breaking: Head coach Mike McDaniel Provide update regarding Dolphins’ Injury Recent Report

To kick off the week, Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel addressed the media, providing updates on several injured players. While there’s still uncertainty regarding Tua Tagovailoa’s recovery timeline, the news isn’t much better for Bradley Chubb and Isaiah Wynn. Tua’s return is still a mystery, and both Chubb and Wynn have been on Injured Reserve since last season. The question remains: when will they be back on the field? McDaniel mentioned that Chubb is currently eligible to return, but he likely won’t be ready until next month at the earliest. When asked about his status, McDaniel confirmed that Chubb won’t play this week but expressed optimism that he could make a return later in the season. His responses have become increasingly

There wasn’t much the Dolphins could do regarding Chubb, especially with him not participating late in a lopsided loss. Wynn’s situation, however, is different. Last season, Wynn performed well at left guard, significantly improving the Dolphins’ running game. Unfortunately, he was injured early in 2023 and ended up missing the entire season. Chris Grier identified another budget-friendly option and signed him to a one-year contract.

Wynn hasn’t practiced or played at all this year. Grier is essentially paying him to sit out, which he did for most of last season too. Instead of drafting a guard or signing a free agent, Grier chose his typical cost-saving approach. Additionally, there’s been no update on River Cracraft, who was injured in the Dolphins’ second preseason game and placed on IR; he is also expected to return. Miami needs these players back quickly, but McDaniel hasn’t offered much optimism regarding the injured players recently.
