BREAKING: Edmonton Elks Announce the signing of another top super star from Quebec

EDMONTON – The Edmonton Elks have announced the signing of Canadian player Bruno Lagace (FB) to their practice roster, as revealed by the team on Sunday.

Lagace makes a comeback to Edmonton following his release by the Elks on June 1. Hailing from Quebec, he participated in the team’s preseason games against the Saskatchewan Roughriders and BC Lions.

Selected by the Green and Gold in the seventh round of the 2023 CFL Draft, Lagace chose to play for the Montreal Carabins in the 2023 season. During this time, he clinched the 58th Vanier Cup victory and earned the title of RSEQ Defensive All-Star.

The Elks are set to resume their practice sessions on Monday in preparation for their Week 2 game against the Montreal Alouettes at Commonwealth Stadium on Friday (kickoff at 7:00 p.m. MT)
