UNC basketball head coach Hubert Davis and Duke’s Jon Scheyer will both have a chance to impress Braylon Mullins on Tobacco Road.
After visiting UConn last week, the talented sharpshooter Braylon Mullins has now planned an official visit with Duke’s coaching staff.
The rising senior guard from Greenfield-Central (Ind.) will be in Durham for the first weekend of October, coinciding with the Blue Devils’ Countdown to Craziness at Cameron Indoor Stadium, as his father informed HS Top Recruits this week.

Mullins, a 6-foot-5, 180-pound four-star recruit who has risen to No. 23 overall in the 247Sports 2025 Top 150 this summer and is nearing five-star status, listed the Tar Heels, Blue Devils, and back-to-back national champion Huskies among his top 10 schools in July. The other seven contenders include Indiana, Purdue, Kansas, Kentucky, Alabama, Tennessee, and Michigan.
With Duke now added to his schedule, Braylon Mullins has secured seven official visits for the upcoming fall semester, not including his recent trip to UConn.
- Sept. 7 – Michigan
- Sept. 14 – UNC
- Sept. 21 – Indiana
- Sept. 28 – Alabama
- Oct. 3 – Duke
- Oct. 18 – Tennessee
- Oct. 25 – Kentucky
Mullins’ visit to UNC is scheduled for the same weekend that the Tar Heels will be hosting his grassroots teammate, Malachi Moreno, a four-star center from Great Crossing High School in Kentucky.
