BREAKING: Cougars, Broncos Alter Future Non-Conference Series

Programs Reschedule Home-and-Home Series for the 2030-31 Seasons

HOUSTON – The University of Houston Football and Boise State have announced a rescheduling of their upcoming two-game non-conference series. The Cougars are set to visit the Broncos on September 14, 2030, and will host them on August 30, 2031, at TDECU Stadium.

These games mark the first confirmed matches for Houston Football’s 2030 and 2031 seasons. For a complete list of future non-conference schedules, click here.

“We’re grateful for the collaboration with Boise State and Athletic Director Jeramiah Dickey, whom I hold in high regard as both a friend and former colleague, in adjusting what promises to be an exciting home-and-home series,” said Eddie Nuñez, Houston’s Vice President for Athletics. “Non-conference scheduling involves many factors, but these upcoming games will benefit both programs and offer unique travel experiences for fans of both teams.”

UP NEXT The Cougars will wrap up their non-conference schedule with the Bayou Bucket Classic at 7 p.m. on Saturday at TDECU Stadium against Rice. This will be the 46th meeting between the Cougars and the Owls and coincides with the 50th anniversary of their first matchup on September 14, 1974, when the Bucket was first contested.
