Breaking: Club Tipped Not To Want To Keep Star On Loan From Nottingham Forest

The 27-year-old defender lost his place in the team under the previous Nottingham Forest manager, Steve Cooper, and has not impressed the current manager, Nuno Espirito Santo.

Nottingham Forest wanted to sell Worrall during the winter transfer window, and multiple Championship clubs expressed interest in acquiring him

Nevertheless, a transfer to a Championship club did not happen, so he instead went on loan to the well-known Turkish team Besiktas, with the possibility of a permanent transfer in the summer.

Worrall has played in two games since he joined the Turkish team and has not been included in any matches since his last game against Kayserispor in Februar

Besiktas manager Fernando Santos favors Necip Uysal and Omar Colley as his top choices for center-backs.

As reported by the Turkish newspaper Star, it is unlikely that Besiktas will choose to keep Worrall in Turkey permanently by activating his purchase option in the summer

There are indications that Nottingham Forest desires for Worrall to have more playing time, and they have reached out to Besiktas about the player’s minutes on the field.

The focus is now on Worrall to earn additional playing time in Turkey and possibly alter Besiktas’ perception of him
