With less than a month remaining until the Stanley Cup Playoffs begin, the Bruins could soon welcome some key players returning from injuries. Recently, winger Pat Maroon, who was traded to the Bruins on March 8, was seen skating before the team’s morning practice at TD Garden on Thursday.

Maroon, who was acquired from Minnesota for a conditional 2026 sixth-round pick, is in the process of recovering from back surgery that he underwent on February 7. The 35-year-old forward had an estimated recovery time of four to six weeks.
“It was his inaugural day back on the ice.”
