Purdue lost another commitment on Thanksgiving Day as three-star offensive tackle Kuol Kuol flipped his verbal pledge to Iowa State.
This marks another setback for Purdue’s 2025 recruiting class, with Kuol becoming the second player to decommit from the Boilermakers on the holiday. Originally committed to Purdue since July, Kuol, who is a 6-foot-6, 260-pound offensive tackle, shared his decision through a post on X.
“After much consideration and talk with the people most important to me, I have decided to make the very difficult decision to decommit from Purdue University,” Kuol wrote. “This really has been a conflicting choice, but I feel it’s what’s best for my academic and athletic development moving forward.
“With that being said, I’d like to announce my commitment to Iowa State University.”
