Breaking: Arizona Cardinals linebacker drops Statement on Trade Request Allegations

Former Arizona Cardinals linebacker issues a Statement addressing Trade Request Allegations

Ian Rapoport from NFL.com reported on Sunday that the Eagles authorized veteran outside linebacker/edge rusher Haason Reddick to explore trade opportunities.

In a conversation yesterday, Reddick appeared surprised by the news when speaking with Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report, stating that he never requested a trade.

The mention of Joe in this context refers to the fact that the Buccaneers have a pressing need for an edge rusher. Acquiring a player like Reddick, aged 29, would significantly bolster the Buccaneers’ defense.

Reddick is heading into the final year of his existing contract and expressed readiness for any potential outcomes. He mentioned being content in Philadelphia, where he played college football at Temple, while acknowledging the business nature of the NFL and being prepared for a potential move to another team later in the year.

After reaching out to an Eagles beat writer for insights, it was suggested to Joe that Rapoport’s initial report was likely orchestrated by the Eagles. Speculations indicate that the Eagles might be trying to trade Reddick due to financial constraints hindering their ability to re-sign him.

Considering Reddick’s impressive track record of double-digit sacks in each of the last four seasons, Joe is enthusiastic about the prospect of Reddick joining the Buccaneers in the upcoming season.

Reddick was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in 2017, a franchise where he made a mark for himself in pass rushing. Notably, the Cardinals’ general manager at the time was Steve Keim, who shares a close relationship with Buccaneers’ general manager Jason Licht and former Cardinals and Buccaneers coach Bruce. Arians.
