Tyson Gamble, a five-eighth for the Newcastle Knights, has decided on his next deal.
Gamble, who will be out of contract at the conclusion of this season, has made the decision to stay with the Knights for an additional two seasons, or until the end of the 2026 NRL season.
In addition to his 25 NRL games with his previous sides, Gamble has made 32 first-grade appearances for the club since joining them last season. He was previously with the Wests Tigers and Brisbane Broncos.
Additionally, the extension follows his absence from action in Round 10 due to a fractured foot bone.
Since joining the Knights, Tyson has made a significant contribution, according to Director of Football Peter Parr.
“Everyone around him is affected by his infectious energy and enthusiasm. He plays with a toughness that has won the respect of both his teammates and this community.”
“We are happy that Tyson will stay a Newcastle Knight; his selfless attitude towards our club made extending his contract an easy decision.”
It is anticipated that Gamble will make his injury comeback to the field in the upcoming weeks.
