Boise State And Jeramiah Dickey Receive Massive Development News
BOISE, Idaho — Jeramiah Dickey, the leader of Boise State, was named Athletic Director of the Year by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics on Monday.
Dickey is among 28 award recipients recognized by NACDA for the 2024-25 year across seven divisions, ranging from NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision to junior and community colleges.
Since Dickey took over on January 2, 2021, the Broncos have achieved significant milestones. In his first three years, Boise State raised over $ 70 million, and the Bronco Athletic Association (BAA) ended 2024 with 8,977 active members, a stark increase from less than 4,000 prior to his arrival.
In January, Boise State Athletics announced a contract extension for Dickey through the 2028-29 academic year. During his tenure, the Broncos claimed 30 team and individual conference championships while raising more than $ 70 million in fundraising.

“Jeramiah is at the forefront of collegiate athletics as an innovator, and his contributions have been crucial in enhancing the strength of our athletic programs on a national scale,” stated Dr. Marlene Tromp, president of Boise State University. “He is passionate about his work and embodies the Bronco spirit.”
Boise State has also achieved remarkable academic success, recording a 3.42 GPA last spring and this past fall, a 96% graduation success rate in November, and an Academic Progress Rate of 991 last academic year, the highest in the NCAA

These individuals come together every day to achieve greatness at Boise State. I also want to thank Bronco Nation for playing a pivotal role in our success—not just over the past year but since my family and I arrived in Boise in January 2021, where we were welcomed from day one.
