JUST IN: “Huge boost” as Blue Jays Reportedly Consider Shocking Deadline Strategy

Up until now, the Toronto Blue Jays’ season hasn’t gone well.

They are still somewhat “salvageable” at 21-25 in terms of win-loss record, but the situation has become increasingly dire due to several factors.

Playing in the AL East, which is perhaps the most difficult baseball league, they are now 10.5 games behind the leaders, the New York Yankees.

They have the third-worst run differential in the American League right now (-40), which is shocking for a team that has been a playoff contender in recent years.

They’re thinking about their alternatives around the trade deadline because of their current circumstances, at least one MLB insider claims.

Though there is plenty of baseball still to play until then, the Blue Jays have likely reached a stage where they must take all possibilities into account.

It was nearly absurd to consider that the Blue Jays may trade Guerrero or Bichette not too long ago.

Even now, they are still regarded as franchise mainstays.

But Toronto does have some elderly talents (George Springer, Kevin Gausman, for example), and neither Bichette nor Guerrero is playing to their full potential.

However, since the concept isn’t selling well on any of them, they must take offers into consideration.

Naturally, if they begin to play better, more in line with their ability, and win some games to move up in the standings, all of this could be for naught.

However, there is a potential that Toronto will sell by the deadline.
