The University of Colorado has pursued 2025 safety prospect for over a year, extending their initial offer to the talented athlete in May 2023.
Their diligence has paid off, with latest reports from Sam Spiegelman of Rivals revealing that Colorado is in contention as one of the final five choices for the NFL legacy recruit.
Alongside Colorado, Thomas is considering offers from the Texas Tech Red Raiders, Houston Cougars, Ole Miss Rebels, and LSU Tigers. The decision on his college destination is pending, set to be disclosed on July 13.
Described as a three-star prospect by both Rivals and 247Sports, Thomas stands at 6 feet 1 inch and weighs 183 pounds, showcasing impressive coverage abilities and strong instincts on the field. His versatility is evident through his experience as a wide receiver and punt returner in addition to his defensive prowess.
Adding to his football pedigree, Thomas’ father Fred enjoyed a successful 12-year career in the NFL as a cornerback.
