Ben McCollum and the Hawkeyes Receives Another Significant News
Cam Manyawu committed to Iowa on Wednesday, becoming the third Drake player to follow head coach Ben McCollum to Iowa City.
The sophomore officially joined his Bulldog teammates Bennett Stirtz and Kael Combs with the Hawkeyes with a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, which announced his decision.

The 6-foot-8, 230-pound forward started his collegiate career at Wyoming, like Combs, before transferring to Drake ahead of the 2024-25 season.
Manyawu appeared in 35 games, including 35 starts, with the Bulldogs last season and averaged 7.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals. He averaged 18.8 minutes per game.
At Wyoming, he appeared in 32 games, starting 10, and averaged 7.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and one steal while playing 22.5 minutes per game.
Manyawu recorded nine career double-doubles (two at Drake, seven at Wyoming) via points and rebounds over the course of his first two seasons. He put up a career-high 20 points to go along with 11 rebounds in a matchup against the South Dakota School of Mines during the 2023-24 season with the Cowboys.
