The Auburn Tigers have many months to go until they return to the football field in live action, and the date in which the team will do that has been changed.
It was announced Thursday evening by Brett McMurphy of The Action Network that the Tigers will play the first game against the season against the Baylor Bears on Friday, Aug. 29. That’s a change of one day, as the game was originally scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 28.
Kickoff time for the new date has yet to be announced. The clash at Baylor is a part of a home-and-home series that Auburn will play in 2025. The Bears will make their appearance in Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 5 in 2026.

Here’s a look at the complete schedule for Auburn, which will aim to start the season out with a bang against a non-conference opponent in the fall.

Auburn could be one of the most intriguing underdog teams to watch in college football in 2025 after it went toe-to-toe with some impressive opponents last season, though the Tigers weren’t always able to come out on the right side of the win column.
