After Visiting North Carolina, This Five-Star Guard Canceled an Upcoming Trip to Duke
Should we interpret Braylon Mullins’ decision following his visit to Chapel Hill?
After his official visit to North Carolina over the weekend, five-star guard Braylon Mullins made headlines by canceling his scheduled trip to rival Duke, suggesting that the Blue Devils are likely no longer in contention.
The timing of this decision should pique the interest of UNC basketball fans, especially since Mullins spent the weekend on campus in Chapel Hill. It’s essential to note that while his visit to North Carolina may not directly connect to his choice to cancel Duke, it could have influenced his decision.
In addition to North Carolina, Mullins has also visited UConn and Michigan officially. According to Adam Zagoria, a visit to Tennessee may still occur before he finalizes his recruitment.

Although he has narrowed his list of finalists to ten schools, it seems that the race is now between four teams based on who has successfully hosted the five-star sharpshooter.
For the UNC basketball program, all signs suggest that Mullins’ visit went well. His recruitment appears to be nearing completion, but it’s important to remember that he is not guaranteed to commit to the Tar Heels based on recent developments.
Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball team still have work ahead to secure a commitment from this talented Class of 2025 prospect.
