This summer, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers will be eager to bolster his team in order to set up a long-term successful future at Parkhead.
The Irishman has stated that he is planning to bring in a number of new players, but he has also extended an olive branch to academy players, who may be given a chance to advance through the ranks under his direction.
Earlier in the year, Rodgers said, “I’m conscious here.” I want to give young players a chance to come through here because I want to stay here for a while, provided of course that I’m successful.
After being promoted from Lennoxtown, Daniel Kelly and Rocco Vata have enjoyed first-team involvement this season. It is rumored that the two are in negotiations to extend their contracts.
In light of this, Celtic revealed earlier today that two additional talented young people have committed to attending Parkhead.

The 20-year-old, who has been out for more than a year due to a chronic injury, will now continue to grow in Glasgow’s east end.
