David Pastrnak lost his helmet in a fight with Matthew Tkachuk during the Boston Bruins’ defeat to the Florida Panthers in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference second-round playoff series. The Panthers dominated with a 6-1 victory at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, leveling the series at one apiece.
Despite Boston opening the scoring, Florida answered with three goals in the second period and three more in the third. The game escalated with multiple fights, leading to the ejection of 10 players.

Following their initial altercation, Pastrnak and Tkachuk engaged in a conversation while seated on their respective benches. They mutually agreed to a fight, with Tkachuk gaining the upper hand over Pastrnak, who is not known for his fighting prowess. Tkachuk managed to dislodge Pastrnak’s helmet and landed additional punches during the altercation.

The game proved to be a resounding success for the Florida Panthers, who were able to even the series at 1-1 after their 6-1 victory. Not only did the Panthers manage to knock Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman out of the game, but they also came out on top in the physical altercations that broke out between the two teams.
