SHOCKING: UConn frat boy is charged with strangling new member during hazing initiation

A college pledgemaster has been accused of assault after he reportedly shoved a freshman recruit against a wall and choked him during a hazing incident.

David Vallejo, 23, who was responsible for welcoming new members into the Lambda Theta Phi Latin fraternity at the University of Connecticut, allegedly conducted a ‘military-style’ boot camp on February 8 and 9. This event took place on the fifth and sixth days of the initiation process at a residence located on Tolland Turnpike in Willington.

During the event, Vallejo is said to have yelled at the pledges in the manner of a strict drill sergeant, demanding that they recite the fraternity’s ‘code’ while he aggressively repeated parts of it to them.
