The Washington Commanders have entered a new era, having navigated the initial free agency period and the NFL Draft. While they can still make improvements through the remaining free agent market, their draft class includes a potentially elite-level tight end who could bring more versatility to their offense – former Kansas State standout Ben Sinnott.
Over the past two seasons with the Wildcats, Sinnott produced a total of 10 touchdowns. He is expected to fit more of an “F” tight end role, as he is not primarily a blocker but rather possesses the ability to separate from defenders and is a skilled route runner, allowing him to stretch the field at all levels.
Following his arrival in Washington, Sinnott spoke to the media, describing what he believes he can bring to the Commanders’ offense. He sees himself as a versatile weapon who will make plays every time he touches the ball, contributing both in the running game and creating mismatches in the passing game.
