A report surfaced on Monday indicating that defensive lineman Jayson Jenkins intends to enter the spring transfer portal in search of a new college football program to join.
Jenkins, a three-star recruit from the 2022 class, featured in six games last season and recorded only four tackles. Initially, it appeared that he would not be returning to Knoxville, but within 24 hours of the report, he entered the transfer portal.
Jenkins’ Decision Flip
