Out of his 30 league appearances this season, Taylor has taken to the field as a substitute in 23 of those matches, yet when given the opportunity to start, he has frequently filled in for Luongo, albeit not always in a direct swap.

At 25 years old, Taylor demonstrates the qualities to excel in the Championship’s second tier, with his offensive instincts providing a distinct contrast to the playing style of his Ipswich Town teammates.Luongo acknowledged Taylor’s abilities, stating, “He’s been at this level before, so he’s a top player, and we all know he’s a good player. In training, he’s one of the best trainers, that kind of thing.

This season, Taylor’s versatility has been showcased as he has been deployed in various positions, making him a unique asset to the team, distinct from the playing styles of Luongo and Morsy.

The manager has shown proficiency in selecting game-specific styles, according to Luongo, who noted that the majority of Championship teams employ wingers and aim to constrain full-backs.

However, Ipswich Town’s Leif Davis, positioned on that side, enjoys attacking and maintaining a high position.Luongo praised Taylor’s impressive start at Ipswich Town, acknowledging his unique playing style and goal-scoring prowess. He also commended Taylor’s exceptional stamina, describing his box-to-box play as “frightening.”Luongo acknowledged the challenge of adapting to the Championship, given the team’s limited experience with this modern style of play.

He also highlighted the contrast between Taylor’s offensive approach and his own defensive style, as well as that of Morsy.
