According to David Kenyon of Bleacher Report, the Miami Dolphins are being considered as a potential destination for Markus Golden, who most recently played for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Kenyon suggests that the Dolphins would sign Golden to a one-year contract worth $1.5 million. Additionally, the Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons are mentioned as other potential landing spots for Golden.
Kenyon acknowledges that while Golden may not become a star player, he can still be an effective pass-rusher despite his best years likely being behind him. In the previous season, Golden played only 22 percent of snaps for the Steelers but managed to record four sacks, including one in the postseason, showcasing his ability to provide valuable depth in a crucial position.
The main question now is whether Golden prioritizes playing time or a playoff run. If he prefers playing time, the Denver Broncos are seen as an appealing option. Alternatively, if he seeks a playoff opportunity, both the Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins are among the potential landing spots that make sense. Given Golden’s experience with four career playoff games, it is suspected that he may have his sights set on a Super Bowl.
