The Orioles surged in the 10th inning, starting with Gunnar Henderson’s two-run homer off Isaiah Campbell (0-1), with Jackson Holliday crossing the plate as the automatic runner.
Holliday, a 20-year-old top prospect in baseball who had his MLB debut the previous night, scored two runs but went hitless in four at-bats for the second consecutive game.
Cowser, a fellow Orioles prospect who faced difficulties in a short stint in the majors last season, contributed by driving in 10 runs during the series.
Following a comeback win from a 5-0 deficit the previous night, the Orioles once again found themselves trailing 2-0 before mounting a comeback, which was aided by some defensive errors by the Red Sox.
With Boston ahead 2-1, Holliday reached base due to an error by third baseman Pablo Reyes to start the eighth inning. Later, Adley Rutschman hit a ground ball that seemed to be a double-play opportunity, but the Orioles challenged the call. After a review, it was determined that Holliday was safe at second because shortstop David Hamilton missed the base while turning the play.

Orioles: Left-handed pitcher John Means, recovering from a left forearm strain, completed his third rehab start on Thursday, pitching three innings for Triple-A Norfolk. He allowed two runs on two hits.
Red Sox: Third baseman Rafael Devers was sidelined due to left shoulder soreness, raising the possibility of a stint on the injured list, as mentioned by manager Alex Cora. Additionally, infielder/outfielder Romy Gonzalez is scheduled to undergo X-rays on his left wrist, which he injured during Wednesday’s game.
