Bengals Re-Sign 26-years-old Akeem Davis-Gaither on-year deal
Cincinnati is bringing back another one of their own.
The Cincinnati Bengals are set to add linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither on a one-year deal worth $3 million, as reported by ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Having been a former fourth-round selection, Davis-Gaither has dedicated his first four seasons to the Bengals. Throughout the previous season, he participated in 13 games for the team, concluding with 17 tackles. Over the course of his career spanning 54 games, he has accumulated 122 tackles, one interception, and two quarterback hits.
Davis-Gaither plays a significant role in Darrin Simmons’ special teams lineup and is expected to serve as the third linebacker for the Bengals, complementing Germaine Pratt and Logan Wilson.
