Rapid have finalized a deal to loan out the French forward, with the agreement also including a purchase option.

Signed last summer, the 25-year-old striker featured in 15 matches for the Giulești side this season, scoring twice. His most recent official appearance came on November 23, 2025, in the 0–3 away defeat to CFR Cluj.
According to Transfermarkt, Antoine Baroan currently has a market value of €600,000.
Over the course of his career, the French attacker has also represented Niort, Botev Plovdiv, Winterthur and Ludogorets.
Meanwhile, Rapid’s first-choice goalkeeper Marian Aioani remains under medical observation following the injury he sustained in the match against Farul.
In addition, Timotej Jambor has been loaned out by Rapid Bucharest to a club in Poland’s second division.
AFS currently sit bottom of the Portuguese league table, collecting just five points from 19 matches and still searching for their first win of the season.
