The Atlanta Braves continued to bolster their bullpen Saturday, agreeing to a one-year, $4.25 million contract with right-hander Tyler Kinley that includes a club option for 2027.
Kinley will earn $3 million in 2026, and the team holds a $5.5 million option for 2027 with a $1.25 million buyout.
The 34-year-old was dominant after joining Atlanta last season, going 5–0 with a 0.72 ERA across 25 innings following his July 30 acquisition from Colorado.
Kinley’s deal follows a series of bullpen moves by the Braves, including signing two-time All-Star Robert Suarez to a three-year, $45 million contract and bringing back closer Raisel Iglesias on a one-year, $16 million agreement.
Across eight major league seasons with the Braves, Rockies, and Miami Marlins, Kinley owns a 19–14 record and a 4.75 ERA, with all 342 of his appearances coming out of the bullpen.
To clear space on the 40-man roster, Atlanta designated left-hander Ken Waldichuk for assignment.
