The Rams are preparing for Sunday’s matchup against the Saints in New Orleans (1:05 p.m. PT, FOX) with mixed updates on their offensive line. While offensive lineman Alaric Jackson (foot) is officially listed as questionable, head coach Sean McVay expects him to play.
McVay explained on Friday that Jackson “ended up getting his foot aggravated” during last Sunday’s game against the Eagles and noted, “it just ended up not feeling as good as we would have liked.” Given the “little soreness in it,” the team opted for a cautious approach this week. Jackson participated in Friday’s closed walkthrough, signaling optimism for his availability.
On the other hand, tight end Tyler Higbee and offensive lineman KT Leveston have been ruled out. McVay shared that Higbee is “probably” ready but emphasized the importance of being “smart with him.” Meanwhile, offensive lineman Rob Havenstein (ankle) is clear to play and carries no designation for Sunday.
For the Saints, starting center Erik McCoy (groin) is among three players listed as questionable, while left guard Lucas Patrick (calf) has been ruled out.
Below are the updated injury reports for both teams (NIR = Not Injury Related).
Despite the challenges, the Rams will rely on Alaric Jackson and Rob Havenstein to anchor the line and provide stability against a strong New Orleans defense.
