Nebraska is now a leader to land Aiden Manutai. Here is the latest.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers are still active in the 2025 recruiting cycle as they pursue potential flip targets. After some searching, it appears they may have found another prospect.
This player is Aiden Manutai, a defensive back from Kahuku High School in Kahuku, Hawaii. A four-star safety according to ESPN, Manutai is currently committed to the California Golden Bears.
The Cornhuskers have had their eye on Manutai for a while and he began to show interest in Nebraska earlier this month. Initially, he considered Nebraska along with five other schools before deciding to commit to the Bears.
Manutai did not visit Lincoln this weekend, which is a positive sign for California. Nonetheless, Nebraska remains in a strong position. The Huskers recently qualified for their first bowl game in years, which is an encouraging factor for recruits.
Additionally, Manutai is among the many recruits who have been influenced by the recent addition of Dawson Merritt, who flipped from Alabama to Nebraska. Could Manutai be the next to make the switch to the Cornhuskers?
