The Cleveland Guardians have signed former Houston Astros pitcher Parker Mushinski to a contract in the minor leagues.
Mushinski will turn 29 during the 2025 season. In 2024, while with Houston, he logged 11.0 innings, recording a 6.55 ERA and a -0.1 fWAR. The Steamer projections anticipate he will throw 26.0 innings in 2025, with an expected ERA of 4.14. Below is Statcast’s analysis of his pitches from April 2024.
Ben Lively has achieved Super 2 status and is eligible for arbitration. In 2024, he was the Guardians’ leader with 13 wins and a 3.81 ERA.
