Max Verstappen from Red Bull Racing leads the rankings with an impressive $55 million salary following a record-breaking season in Formula 1. RBR is among three teams, along with Mercedes and Ferrari, that have both of their drivers listed among the top 10 highest earners.

Max Verstappen (shown above) recently concluded the most exceptional season in Formula One history, establishing records for the highest points and most victories within a single year—and he was rewarded generously for it.

The 26-year-old leads the ranking of the highest-earning drivers in F1, earning a salary of $55 million in 2024.

Verstappen’s Red Bull Racing teammate, Sergio Pérez, ranks seventh on the earnings list with a salary of $14 million. Red Bull Racing is one of just three teams—along with Mercedes and Ferrari—to have both of its drivers in the top 10 earners.

Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes, with a salary of $45 million, holds the second position, while Charles Leclerc from Ferrari, earning $34 million, takes third. Lando Norris, as McLaren’s sole representative on the list, occupies fourth place with $20 million.

Sharing the fifth position are Mercedes’ George Russell and Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso, each earning $18 million.

By securing the Constructors’ Championship, Red Bull earned an estimated $131 million, which will significantly aid in their efforts to defend the title and keep their elite driver satisfied.
