The Michigan Wolverines have strengthened their 2026 class by bringing in a versatile player, as three-star wide receiver Jaylen Pile revealed his commitment to the maize and blue on Thursday.

Standing 6 feet tall and weighing 175 pounds, Pile is from Dallas, Texas, and plays star roles at Parish Episcopal School. He is the first offensive recruit for four-star quarterback Brady Hart in Michigan’s 2026 class. In his sophomore season in 2023, Pile recorded 16 receptions for 427 yards and five touchdowns. According to Marshall Levenson from Rivals, he achieved 35 catches for 804 yards and 12 touchdowns over just seven games this season.
Additionally, he competes in high school track, having clocked an 11.95 in the 100-meter dash last year. Aside from Michigan, Pile has received offers from various schools, including Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, Utah, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Florida State, Washington, Arkansas, Illinois, Auburn, Syracuse, and more. According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, Pile is ranked No. 492 overall, No. 78 among wide receivers, and No. 66 among players from Texas in his class.
