Breaking: Golden State Warriors significant player suffered intensive injury: His Return Is Undisclosed

The Golden State Warriors kicked off the preseason with four straight wins, but a significant player suffered an injury during their game against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday. Second-year guard Brandin Podziemski had to leave the game, which the Warriors won 111-93. In the third quarter, Podziemski took a blow to the face from teammate Trayce Jackson-Davis and did not return to the game. On Monday, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr announced that Podziemski had a broken nose. As a result, he will miss the upcoming preseason game on Tuesday in Las Vegas against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Santa Clara Broncos alum is currently being fitted for a protective mask.

Before leaving the game against the Pistons, Podziemski scored 12 points, shooting 4-of-7 from the field, including two 3-pointers. He also recorded four rebounds, four assists, and two steals in 20 minutes of play.

Throughout the preseason, Podziemski has averaged 8.3 points per game while playing at least 19 minutes in each matchup. The Warriors will aim to maintain their perfect preseason record as they face the Lakers on Tuesday night in Las Vegas.
