Breaking Now: San Antonio Spurs have signed talented 25-year-old superstar guard

The San Antonio Spurs have signed free agent guard to a training camp contract, as reported by RealGM’s official NBA transactions log.

Miller, who went undrafted from UNC Greensboro in 2021, spent his first three professional seasons in the G League, playing one year with the Iowa Wolves and two years with the Salt Lake City Stars. During the last season with the Stars, he played in 49 games, averaging 11.5 points4.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in around 20.5 minutes per game, shooting 48.6% from the field.

This past summer, the 25-year-old participated in the Grizzlies’ Summer League, where his team advanced to the championship game in Las Vegas. He then signed with APR, a team in Rwanda, helping them secure a title in the Rwanda Basketball League last month. The Stars traded Miller’s returning rights to the Austin Spurs this offseason, which means he could play for San Antonio’s affiliate if he returns to the G League.

His contract with San Antonio is likely an Exhibit 10 contract, which could earn him a bonus of up to $77.5K if waived before the NBA season and spends at least 60 days with Austin.

With this signing, the Spurs now have a complete 21-man preseason roster, giving them another week to reduce that number to 18 for the regular season (15 on standard contracts and three on two-way deals).
