UAB head coach Trent Dilfer announces devastating Injury news on Isaiah Jacobs, the RB to miss remainder of the season

UAB running back Isaiah Jacobs will be out for the rest of the 2024 season due to an injury, as confirmed by head coach Trent Dilfer on Monday.

This is the second consecutive season that Jacobs has faced a season-ending injury, having played in the first five games of 2023 before injuring his ACL.

He was a two-time captain and co-starter with Lee Beebe Jr. in every game this season.

Jacobs, a redshirt senior and brother of former Alabama running back Josh Jacobs, rushed for 162 yards on 41 attempts this season and made seven catches for 33 yards. He achieved a season-high of 62 rushing yards in the game against Arkansas.

During his last season with the Blazers, he recorded 55 carries for 249 yards and three touchdowns, along with 17 receptions for 63 yards.
