NDSU Receives Exciting News on 2 Key Athletic Partnership Agreements
The North Dakota State University athletic department has formed a partnership with Vet Tix 1st Tix to offer complimentary event tickets to veterans, military members, and first responders
This partnership enables NDSU fans who cannot use their tickets for upcoming athletic events—such as football, volleyball, wrestling, and men’s and women’s basketball games—to donate their tickets to Vet Tix. Ticket donations can be made directly to Vet Tix through an online ticket transfer via a GoBison.com account. Donors can send transfers to Vet Tix using the email address donate@vettix.org. For further details on how to donate tickets, visit GoBison.com/VetTix.
Vet Tix is a national nonprofit organization that provides free event tickets to all military members and veterans of the U.S. military, as well as immediate family members of those who died in the line of duty. The organization aims to enhance well-being, strengthen family relationships, create lasting memories, and encourage service members and veterans to engage with their local communities.
1st Tix, which is powered by Vet Tix, serves as a similar program for first responders, including current and former law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMTs, registered nurses, and 9-1-1 dispatchers.
To celebrate the new partnership, NDSU Athletics will match all ticket donations to Vet Tix from Thursday, Sept. 26, to Wednesday, Oct. 2. Donated tickets will be allocated for the NDSU football team’s military appreciation game against the University of Northern Iowa on Saturday, Nov. 2. These tickets will be distributed to verified Vet Tix and 1st Tix members via VetTix.org.
