Four-star point guard Keyshuan Tillery has committed to Cincinnati, selecting it over Wake Forest and Virginia.
Wes Miller and the Bearcats have secured a vital asset for their 2025 recruiting class with Tillery’s commitment.
Standing at 6 feet and 185 pounds, Tillery hails from New Hampton, New Hampshire. He is the first commitment for Cincinnati in the 2025 class.
“The whole program, and staff built a great relationship with me, my mom, the City Rock coaches, and New Hampton coaches,” Tillery told 247Sports. “They made me feel like I belong with that program. It was a whole list of things that played out perfectly that lead me to my decision.”
“They also had the best opportunity for me as a freshman,” Tillery continued. “Obviously I have to work my way up to get any type of minutes, but I’m willing to put in the work. They presented me with everything I wanted which was a place that made me feel like home.”
Tillery took his official visit to Cincinnati’s campus on Sept. 13. On the visit, Tillery quickly became comfortable with the Bearcat players which also played a big role in this decision.
“I gelled with the guys pretty early and they were just genuine,” he said. “The whole vibe was genuine between the coaches and players.”
Tillery also cited Cincinnati’s guard play specifically from Day Day Thomas and Jizzle
