EDMONTON — A.C. Leonard has rejoined the Edmonton Elks.
The CFL team announced the addition of the veteran defensive lineman along with five other players to its practice roster on Saturday.
Leonard played for the Elks last season, where he achieved a career-high of 12 sacks, tying for the team lead.
At 32 years old and hailing from Palatka, Florida, Leonard has also played for the B.C. Lions, Saskatchewan Roughriders, and Ottawa Redblacks since entering the league in 2015.
Throughout his career, he has recorded 280 defensive tackles, 51 sacks, eight forced fumbles, and one interception over 108 regular-season games.
In addition to Leonard, Edmonton signed American defensive back Myles Brooks, American wide receiver Dontay Demus Jr., National kicker Campbell Fair, American defensive lineman John McCartan, and American offensive lineman Eric Miller to the expanded practice roster.
