Stutzle (upper body) participated in a non-contact skate ahead of Monday’s game against the Rangers, according to TSN 1200 Ottawa.
While it’s positive that Stutzle joined the team for their two-game road trip, his inability to practice suggests he may also be unavailable for Tuesday’s game against Boston. If that happens, the 22-year-old will finish the season with 18 goals and 52 assists in 75 games. Should he return to full health, there’s a chance Stutzle could join Germany for the 2024 IIHF World Championship.
