Georgia Tech Adds Another Four-Star Offensive Lineman

Georgia Tech secured its 21st commitment for the class of 2025 an offensive tackle from Duluth High School, announced his decision to join the Yellow Jackets.

On Saturday, August 3, Ajidahun was surrounded by family and friends at Duluth High School as he revealed his commitment to continue both his academic and athletic journey at Georgia Tech. Standing 6’6″ and weighing 280 pounds, Ajidahun cited the program’s upward trajectory, its academic reputation, and the opportunity for early playing time as key factors in his choice.

“I chose Georgia Tech because I truly believe in what Coach [Brent] Key is building,” Ajidahun expressed. “Georgia Tech is on the rise in the ACC, and I want to be part of something great. I believe he is creating something special.”

Ajidahun also highlighted his family’s emphasis on academics, noting that attending a reputable school, particularly with a strong business program, was a top priority. He added, “I feel that I can come to Georgia Tech and have the chance to start right away if I put in the work, which is very important to me.”

During his visits to campus and practices in July, Key consistently demonstrated his commitment to checking in on Ajidahun, reinforcing the support he would receive.

“They shared a timeline of what I can achieve in college and after graduation,” Ajidahun explained. “When a coach reaches out to players beyond football, it shows he has the potential to be a great head coach, and that’s exactly what Coach Key does. He calls to check in and genuinely enjoys talking off the field, which reflects his character.”

Ajidahun felt ready to commit when Coach Key posed a question that stirred excitement. “He said, ‘If you commit, I’ll be doing victory laps around Peachtree,'” Ajidahun recalled. “I replied, ‘You might have to because I’m choosing to commit.'”

“His enthusiasm was contagious; he literally danced around his office. That made me happy, and I was thrilled to share the news with him. Coach Geep [Wade] was also relieved that I was finally making this decision.”

By committing to Georgia Tech, Ajidahun will have the chance to play just over 30 minutes away on I-85 South, which means his family can easily watch him play.

He also believes he’ll adapt quickly since Duluth High School runs a similar offensive scheme to what Georgia Tech’s coordinator, Buster Faulkner, implements. “Georgia Tech’s playing style aligns closely with what we do at Duluth,” Ajidahun noted. “It matches my play style—I’m athletic and enjoy getting in space. The similarities will make my transition seamless.”

Ajidahun chose Georgia Tech over in-state rival Georgia and Ole Miss, and he also received offers from several other Power Five schools, including Duke, Florida, Kansas State, Kentucky, NC State, Pitt, South Carolina, Tennessee, UCF, Vanderbilt, Virginia, and Wake Forest.
