Having selected Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston in the last two WNBA drafts, the once-downtrodden Indiana Fever are now a young club.

The Fever, who are at 11-14 on the season and have risen to a new high in the WNBA ESPN power rankings, are seeing success thanks to their efforts. This week, The Fever was ranked No. 5.

Wednesday, July 17 is the Fever’s next game against the Dallas Wings. With a record of 5-19 overall, the Wings are now last in the WNBA. After then, the Fever took a break until August 16 in order to accommodate the Olympics and the All-Star Game.

A victory may move the Fever, who presently have the seventh-best spot in the WNBA playoffs, to within a half-game of the Phoenix Mercury, who are currently sitting one game above them at 12-12.
