On Sunday night, Georgia football secured its twentieth commitment for the 2025 recruiting class.
Rashad Johnson, a four-star safety from Bushnell, Florida’s South Sumter High School, shared his choice on Instagram.
Texas A&M, Penn State, and Louisville were his other contenders.
The 247Sports Composite ranks the 6-foot-2, 200-pound Johnson as the No. 29 safety in the country and the No. 323 prospect overall.
According to Lake & Sumter Style Magazine, Johnson had 59 tackles, including six for loss with an interception, forced fumble, and sack for an 11-2 squad.
Johnson follows four-star Jaylan Morgan of Rockvale, Tennessee, as the second safety to commit to Georgia in the past week.
Currently, Georgia’s class is ranked third nationally, after Alabama and Ohio State.
