The 22-year-old WNBA sensation graciously meets 14-year-old Bailey Lux, hailing from Carroll, Iowa, signing memorabilia and granting her cherished opportunity amidst her health struggles.
Bailey, a steadfast Hawkeyes enthusiast acquainted with Clark and her former Iowa teammate Kate Martin, faced a severe medical ordeal with a rare form of sarcoma. Despite transiently being declared cancer-free, her condition relapsed, compelling her to cease treatments.

The trio maintains close communication, with Martin facilitating Bailey’s attendance at significant basketball events, demonstrating unwavering support and kindness during these trying times.
During the event, Bailey sported a jersey displaying ‘Fever 22’ on the front in honor of Clark and ‘Aces 20’ on the back for Martin.

Bailey’s father, Kraig, emotionally shared with the Indy Star that Bailey’s battle with cancer is in a challenging phase where they strive every day to create meaningful moments. He expressed deep gratitude for the heartfelt support shown by Caitlin and Kate, who have been positive influences and sources of joy for Bailey throughout her journey.
The Indy Star reported that Clark and Martin arranged for the Lux family to fly out less than a week prior to the special occasion.
