Buffalo Bills to Pull Trigger on Blockbuster Trade for Denver Broncos All-Pro Superstar

The Buffalo Bills are in a pivotal offseason. After another season without meeting their goals, they are facing high expectations led by Josh Allen. While the team has already made significant offseason moves, they will likely need to aim for top-tier talent to elevate their performance in the upcoming season.

According to Alex Murray and Evan Burner of GiveMeSport, the Bills have been suggested to address a significant gap at the cornerback position following the departure of Tre’Davious White.

Despite drafting CB Daequan Hardy in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, he may not be the elite talent the team needs. Therefore, Murray and Burner propose considering Denver Broncos star Patrick Surtain II as a potential trade target for the Bills.

Surtain, a highly regarded All-Pro cornerback with two Pro Bowl appearances in three NFL seasons, is widely recognized as one of the best cornerbacks in the league. He is also considered to be among the top available cornerback talents in the trade market.

“Giving up a first-round pick for Surtain II would be reasonable, but Denver is rumored to have asked for multiple first-rounders in exchange for the young corner. The Bills should be actively pursuing a trade for the Pro Bowl corner but must remain wary of overpaying.

“Nevertheless, Surtain II is the best cornerback the Bills could feasibly add this offseason. If Buffalo wants to seriously improve its roster, it will have to start taking some big swings,” Murray and Burner wrote.

As previously mentioned, it’s probable that the Titans will have to offer more than just a single first-round pick to entice Surtain away from the Broncos. Denver understands the significant value that the former Alabama standout offers, and if they choose to part ways with Surtain, they will aim to extract the maximum value in return.
